Five reasons we can’t wait for Bryan Adams’ summer dates

Bryan Adams is back with a bang and we cannot wait for his 2017 dates.

He’s expanded his Get Up Tour! This summer you can catch rocker Bryan Adams live AND in the open air with six dates across the UK’s best outdoor spaces such as The AGAES Bowl in Southampton.

With sold-out shows in 2016 and his latest album Get Up, there’s just no stopping this thing that the Canadian singer-songwriter has started. Here are five reasons you can’t miss Bryan Adams live this summer.

1. You know all the songs. Let’s not be shy about this fact. You can sing your little rocker heart out to Please Forgive Me, Run To You, I Do It For You and all the other number #1s Bryan Adams has given us throughout the years. Warning: You may be a bit hoarse after the show, but it’s all totally worth it.

2. He’s a classic. Whether you are 5 or 65, everyone can enjoy a bit of classic rock ‘n’ roll. Bryan Adams’ career has spanned over many generations. Fans from the first hour are now parents or even grandparents, and they’ve ensured the following generation love his guitar-filled rockabilly just the same.

3. Summer of ’69. Sing it with us: “I got my first real six-string, bought it at the five-and-dime. Played it til my fingers bled, was the summer of siiixtyyy niiiiine”. Now that felt good, didn’t it? You recognise this song within seconds of the first riff and you can’t stop singing until it’s finished.

4. Talent. It’s undeniable that the man has talent. But besides his obvious musical talents, Adams has been busy with a few side projects. Did you know he’s an amazing photographer? And just recently he collaborated with Hurts on their new video. And as if that doesn’t keep him busy enough, the singer also runs his own foundation which helps bring education and learning opportunities to children worldwide.

5. The new album. We’ve had a listen to his latest of fourteen studio albums and it leaves us wanting more. It’s the classic Bryan Adams sound with new, modern influences. We can’t wait to hear these songs live.
