Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park have added a host of special guests to the line-up for Florence + The Machine’s triumphant homecoming on Saturday 13 July 2019. The indie rockers have already been announced to headline alongside festival favourites, The National.

Now joining these two iconic acts are Blood Orange, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Let’s Eat Grandma and Goat Girl.

Blood Orange is the RnB and electronic-inspired project of musician, producer and regular Florence collaborator, Dev Hynes. He last supported his friends Florence + The Machine back in 2016. Hynes’ latest album, 2018’s Negro Swan, features songs with Puff Daddy, Janet Mock, Steve Lacy and many others. You can listen to Chewing Gum, a track from that album featuring A$AP Rocky and Project Pat, below.

Aldous Harding is a folk singer-songwriter from New Zealand who is set to release her third album, Designer, this April.

Also a New Zealander is Marlon Williams, who’s known for his fusion of folk, bluegrass, country and blues – plus he recently appeared in the film A Star is Born alongside Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

British duo Let’s Eat Grandma are Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth, who released the album I’m All Ears last year to widespread acclaim.

Finally, Goat Girl is an all-female post-punk quartet who released their self-titled debut last year and have sprung from the burgeoning South London scene, similar to Florence Welch herself.

These five acts join the already magnificent bill coming to Hyde Park on Saturday 13 July 2019. It will also be the second time Florence + The Machine have headlined the festival, which is now in its seventh year.

Led by the force of nature Florence Welch, Florence + The Machine broke through in 2009 with their wildly successful debut album Lungs. The record, which features the massive singles You’ve Got the Love and Dogs Days Are Over peaked at No.1 on the Official UK Albums Chart and saw the group pick up the 2010 Brit Award for Album of the Year.

Since their debut, the band have gone onto release three more studio albums; 2011’s Ceremonials, 2015’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and their latest effort 2018’s High as Hope.

High as Hope features the singles Hunger and Full of Song and received widespread critical acclaim for the deeply personal lyrical content throughout the record.

The band have just completed a sold-out UK arena tour to promote the album included two nights at The O2 Arena. The band were praised for the live shows and received a five-star review from The Telegraph.
