The musical version of the iconic story returns to the UK arenas in 2018 to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
With the announcement of their UK tour coming in February next year, The Front Bottoms have also shared the second single off their forthcoming LP Going Grey, Vacation Town.
The New Jersey-based band will be joined by special guests The Smith Street Band and Brick + Mortar on their UK tour which kicks off on 9 February in Manchester and continues through the end of the month including a show at London’s Roundhouse on 28 February.
Having relocated band headquarters to the coastal New Jersey community of Asbury Park during the demoing stages of the album, Going Grey sees the band acknowledging the nostalgia of simpler times with admiration, while welcoming the inevitable unknowns of life. With Vacation Town the band share more of an insight into what the new record will sound like. The track “explores the comforts of breaking from everyday responsibilities while on vacation and how that role changes when you live year-round in a seasonal destination (in your head)”, says Brian Sella.
