Gerry Cinnamon adds huge Scottish dates to tour

Catch the troubadour live this November and December.

Gerry Cinnamon has added two huge Scottish dates to his previously announced UK tour.

The newly revealed dates see him take to Aberdeen on 23 November 2019 and Glasgow on 20 December 2019, with tickets available from 9:00 on Friday 19 July 2019.

The shows join a lengthy – mostly sold out – UK and Ireland run which kick off in Belfast on 1 November 2019, before heading to Dublin, Leicester, Liverpool, Leeds, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Norwich, London and Newcastle.

The tour, many of which take place in arenas, mark the remarkable rise of the Scottish singer-songwriter.

You can listen to his single Sometimes here:

Following a series of festival appearances across the summer, including TRNMST Festival in Glasgow, fans will now have a chance to see him live on this brand new headline tour this autumn. He will be joined by Mercury Prize-nominated The Coral as special guests.

His signature style of music and singing enables his natural Glaswegian accent to deliver “brutally honest” lyrics has seen him grow from selling out small venues by word of mouth and social media in Scotland. His first single Hope Over Fear was written for a Scottish Independence rally event in Glasgow and introduced him to a wider audience. From that, he released another single Kampfire Vampire and supported John Power and Ocean Colour Scene.

“The last stint was top class,” Cinnamon says of his previous UK run. “Expect nothing less from these gigs. The live shows have become something pretty special. There’s something happening, I don’t know what it is but it’s happening, you can feel it, it’s undeniable. To be honest I’ve been trying to keep a lid on it but the bonfire’s lit now and folk are asking for it so let’s see how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
