Ghost confirmed as final Bloodstock 2017 headliners

Off the back of their UK tour, Swedish atmospheric heavy metallers Ghost have been confirmed as the final headliners for this year’s Bloodstock.

With three critically acclaimed full-length albums under their belt, Ghost have been confirmed as the third and final headliners for this year’s Bloodstock festival. Taking to the event on Saturday 12 August 2017, the join Amon Amarth and Megadeth at the top of the bill.

“We are absolutely chuffed to finally be playing at the classic BLOODSTOCK,” Ghost announced. “Over the years we have heard so many great things about it and now, to be able to headline one of the nights, is a great honour and we are very much looking forward to it. Thank you all and see you there!”

The band have just rounded up their Popestar UK tour, mixing their striking visuals with sounds inspired by Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Judas Priest and Mercyful Fate.

Bloodstock runs from the 10 – 13 August 2017 at Catton Park in Walton-On-Trent near Derby. It also hosts the likes of Blind Guardian, Kreator, Arch Enemy, Testament, Hatebreed and Skindred.
