With less than six weeks to go, Parklife festival organisers have revealed details of their new Valley stage.

The stage is inspired by the Tokyo cityscapes of Blade Runner, promising a immersive production and groundbreaking visuals to bring a full city to Parklife. The experience will welcome the likes of A$AP Rocky, Carl Cox, Annie Mac, Stefflon Don, Bicep and many more in June.

Parklife 2018 takes place from the 9 – 10 June 2018 at Manchester’s Heaton Park.

Celebrating its eighth edition, Parklife 2018 promises to be an unmissable weekend in the summer calendar.

As in the past, there’ll be 16 arenas to experience along with a VIP arena offering exclusive attractions and special guest DJs, plus a new theme across the whole event.

The line-up sees Liam Gallagher, The xx, Skepta, Lorde, N*E*R*D, and Justice lead the charge, joined by Bonobo, A$AP Rocky, Jamie xx, Giggs and many, many more.

Last year Parklife was headlined by The 1975 and Frank Ocean. Among many unforgettable highlights, Parklife 2017 featured a touching tribute to victims of the terror attack at Manchester Arena. With the Mayor of Manchester and emergency services on stage, and after moving speeches from Councillor Pat Karney, Carl Austin-Behan and Andy Burnham, vocalist Matt Healy led a “minute of noise” before The 1975 began their headline slot.

Parklife has built a solid reputation as one of the UK’s leading summer festivals – and it’s an event that truly embodies the impassioned spirit of Manchester.

The Valley is the latest innovation to arrive at the festival.
