Interpol announce headline Leeds show

The date follows the release of last year's Marauder.

Indie legends Interpol announced that they’ll be headlining the O2 Academy in Leeds on Tuesday 25 June 2019.

The date joins follows last year’s shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where they were joined by Nilufer Yanya, and a show alongside The Cure as part of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park.

Interpol released their new album Marauder on the 24 August 2018 and featuring singles The Rover, Number 10 and If You Really Love Nothing.

Marauder marks the band’s sixth studio album, following 2014’s El Pintor. Upon release, the record was praised for breaking away from their early ’00s sound, having burst onto the scene with 2002 debut Turn On The Bright Lights.

The band are renowned for the likes of Obstacle 1, Evil and C’mere.
