Interview: Delain’s Charlotte Wessels on their UK tour
The Dutch symphonic metal outfit return to the UK in February 2020.
Before returning to the UK in February 2020 for a series of headline shows, Delain vocalist Charlotte Wessels discussed new material and playing live backstage at Download Festival 2019.
Delain formed in 2002 by former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt, Charlotte joined the band three years later for the release of their Lucidity debut.
With a total of five albums under their belt, the band are currently working on their sixth studio album, one that promises to continue their blend of upbeat and epic symphonies.
This year they have unveiled new tracks Masters of Destiny and Hunter’s Moon.
Having played on the outdoor Zippo Encore Stage at Download Festival, Delain are now gearing up for a string of headline shows across the UK, kicking off in Birmingham on 6 February 2020.
The run will then see the band take to stages in Manchester, Bristol and London.
