Jimmy Eat World and more added to Slam Dunk Festival

Jimmy Eat World will head up Slam Dunk Festival 2018. They’ll be joined by Taking Back Sunday, Sleeping With Sirens, State Champs, Four Year Strong and Trash Boat. Many more acts are still to be announced.

It marks the first time Jimmy Eat World will appear for a show at the one-day festival which takes place across three sites on consecutive days. It is also the first time Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday will play on the same festival bill in the UK.

Slam Dunk promises eight stages in total, which have in the past welcomed huge names from the alternative world including emo, punk, pop-punk and metalcore.

Slam Dunk Festival 2017 was headlined by Enter Shikari, joined by the likes of Neck Deep, Tonight Alive, Against Me!, Bowling for Soup and many more.

The festival will run from the 26 – 28 May 2018, taking place for one day at each venue. 2018 will see the South site move to Hatfield Park, having previously taken place at the University of Hertfordshire.

The North site stays as Leeds City Centre, and the Midlands returns to National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

Here are those Slam Dunk Festival 2018 dates:

26 May 2018 – City Centre, Leeds
27 May 2018 – Hatfield Park, Hatfield
28 May 2018 – National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham
