The Kent weekender keeps getting bigger.
The first names have been revealed for London’s celebration of blues and soul, BluesFest 2018. The festival will take place at The O2, and will welcome John Fogerty performing his songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival, plus special guests Steve Miller Band.
Both will perform on the same night at the festival, taking to The O2 on Thursday 25 October 2018, with tickets available from Friday 9 March.
Fogerty rose to fame as a founding member and lead vocalist in Creedence Clearwater Revival. Combining blues and rock, the band released seven studio albums in the late 1960s and early 70s, hitting the No.1 spot in both the US and UK with Cosmo’s Factory.
Despite the band only being active for four years, Fogerty has kept their music alive, and brings it to the festival in October.

Steve Millar, the driving force behind the band, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2016.
They’ll be bringing their back-catalogue of blues rock to the festival stage as very special guests to John Fogerty.
