London-based musician Jordan Rakei has announced details of his biggest ever headline tour.

The newly announced dates kick off in Birmingham on 10 October 2019, before heading to Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and Brighton, and then finishing with a huge show at London’s The Roundhouse.

The new tour will be in support of Jordan’s forthcoming studio album Origin, due for release on 14 June 2019 via Ninja Tune.

Origin will be Jordan’s third album, following the LPs Cloak in 2016 and Wallflower in 2017.

Drawing inspiration from cultural interpretations of a dystopian future such as Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror, Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, Origin is set to be the musician’s most ambitious record to date.

Growing his reputation as a live act, the musician has performed at venues such as Ronnie Scotts and Fabric and has appeared at festivals like Glastonbury, SXSW and BBC Radio 1’s Biggest Weekend 2018.
