Kendal Calling announces huge line-up
Courteeners, Doves, Manic Street Preachers, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Orbital will headline.
Kendal Calling have revealed their headliners and huge line-up for the festival.
Now in its 14th year, Courteeners, Doves, Manic Street Preachers, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and Orbital will grace the main stage, headlining a four-day weekend of music, art, comedy, food and drink at Lake District’s Lowther Deer Park from 25 – 28 July 2019.
They’ll be joined by a whole host of huge artists including Tom Jones, Year & Years, Gerry Cinnamon, Miles Kane, The Fratellis, Gomez, Idles, KT Tunstall, Mystery Jets, Slowthai, The Subways and Nina Nesbitt.
The Glow stage will be headlined by DJ sets from Leftfield, Maribou State and High Contrast.

Since their breakout success in 2008 with Not Nineteen Forever, Courteeners have built themselves a loyal fan base, playing at venues up and down the country include their Manchester homecoming show in May 2017, which sold out in just over two hours.
Mancunian three-piece Doves return to Kendal Calling since playing the stage nine year ago. In 2018 – following their hiatus – fans created an online petition to encourage them to reform. Fans are eagerly awaiting their return to stage in 2019, including their performance at Kendal Calling.
Manic Street Preachers made their Kendal Calling debut in 2017 and were keen to return to the festival as soon as possible. They released their critically acclaimed album Resistance is Futile last year which received great praise from critics.
Nile Rodgers & CHIC are set to bring disco and a huge sing-a-long to the festival. Over the four past decades the band have created some timeless classic such as Le Freak, Good Times and more. They released their first album in over 25 years last year, It’s About Time.
One of the UK’s biggest dance duo, Orbital are set to bring their spectacular visual displays to the festival, offering a multi-sensory treat to their fans. Since emerging in the ‘90s, the duo took a short break from 2004 – 2009, before reforming and performing all over the world since.
Kendal Calling takes place on 25 -28 July 2019 at the stunning Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District. More than just a music festival, this is a four-day festival with art, comedy, cabaret, cinema, magic, kids’ entertainment, food and drink and more.
