The Here We Go Again Tour kicked off with a celebratory performance at London's O2.
Ticketmaster New For 2019 pick Kojey Radical has announced a six date headline UK tour, kicking off in Leeds on 26 March 2020 and running through to London’s Roundhouse on 2 April 2020.
The dates follow the release of his Cashmere Tears project, released in September of this year, and his sold out For You headline tour.
Kojey’s acclaimed record tackles the subject of depression, family, creativity, god and self-hope, and has seen support across the airwaves from the likes of Nick Grimshaw and Clara Amfo.
“Cashmere Tears is finally here,” Kojey says of the new tour. “Thank you to everyone that’s given it time, repeat listens and genuine love. It’s crazy how quickly all my anxiety turned into excitement but after the response and the stories of how this project has really effected people I think it’s time we take this show on the road. This is my biggest tour to date and I’m pulling out all the stops. Let’s create some new memories. I’ll see you soon.”
Raised in East London, Kojey Radical (real name Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah) unveiled his debut Dear Daisy : Opium in 2014 shortly after graduating from the London College of Fashion.
He has since released 2016’s 23Winters,In Gods Body in 2017, and his most recent album Cashmere Tears earlier this year.
Blending grime and rap, Kojey is renowned for his poignant lyricism, consistently blending together his visual creativity with his music.
He is now preparing to tour the UK on the following dates:
26 March 2020 – Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds
27 March 2020 – SWG3, Glasgow
28 March 2020 – Institute2, Birmingham
31 March 2020 – Gorilla, Manchester
1 April 2020 – Thekla, Bristol
