Lewis Capaldi adds two new dates to 2020 arena tour

The singer-songwriter has announced new shows in London and Aberdeen.

Due to phenomenal demand, Lewis Capaldi has added a second London show and a brand new Aberdeen date to his biggest ever UK headline tour.

The musician will now perform at The SSE Arena Wembley on the 13 March 2020 and at TECA, Aberdeen on 15 March 2020.

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on general sale at 9:00 on Friday 10 May 2019.

The Scottish singer-songwriter is currently preparing for the release of his debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent which is set to drop on 17 May 2019.

The album, which was recorded over 18 months in London, Los Angeles and New York, will also feature the fan-favourite track Grace.

Breaking through in 2017 with a series of tracks and EPs written in his bedroom, Capaldi has grown into becoming one of the most exciting songwriters in UK music.

His infectious songwriting has earned him plaudits from outlets such as Radio 1, Vevo and Beats 1, as well as earning the Glaswegian tour support slots for the likes of Niall Horan, Sam Smith and Kodaline.

Last autumn, Lewis made waves with the single Grace. The song received extensive radio play in the UK and the official video for the track, in which Lewis fills in for a friend working in a gentlemen’s club, has been viewed over six million times.

Capaldi hit No.1 on the official UK singles chart with Someone You Loved, and most recently unveiled new track Hold Me While You Wait, also taken from his forthcoming debut album.
