The icon will perform across seven arenas next year.
Due to phenomenal demand, Lighthouse Family have confirmed a further run of UK tour dates taking place early next year.
The newly announced tour kicks off in Sheffield on 17 February 2020, taking in a total of 12 gigs, and finishes at Cliffs Pavilion, Southend on 1 March 2020.
The band are currently gearing up for the release of their first album in 18 years, Blue Sky In Your Head.
The new album is set to drop on 5 July 2019 via Polydor Records and side two of the record will contain a collection of the band’s biggest hits, remastered to celebrate their 25 years making music together.
Earlier this year the band released the first single from the Blue Sky In Your Head. Watch the lyric video for My Salvation below:
Formed at Newcastle University by vocalist Tunde Baiyewu and keyboardist Paul Tucker, Lighthouse Family found huge success in the ’90s and early ’00s.
The band released their debut album Ocean Drive in 1995 and the record has sold over 1.8 million copies in the UK alone. The record spawned the singles Lifted, Goodbye Heartbreak, Loving Every Minute and Ocean Drive.
Ocean Drive was followed by two more albums; Postcards from Heaven in 1997 and Whatever Gets You Through the Day in 2001. Both records earned the duo several more top-ten singles such as High, Lost In Space and (I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be) Free/One.
Lighthouse Family originally disbanded in 2003, before reforming briefly in 2010 for a run of shows.
The duo will be bringing their new album Blue Sky In Your Head to life alongside some of their biggest hits on tour this November and due to phenomenal demand, will be hitting the road again early in 2020.
