The Kent weekender keeps getting bigger.
UK hip hop artist J Hus has joined the line-up of this year’s Lovebox Festival.
In a UK festival exclusive, the performer will appear on the Friday of the London weekender.
Lovebox returns to Gunnersbury Park this summer from 12 – 13 July 2019.
London-born J Hus released his hugely successful debut album Common Sense in May 2017. The record features the mainstream hit single Did You See, which reached the top 10 on the Official UK Chart.
The rapper recently returned to the live stage, making a surprise guest appearance at one of Canadian rapper Drake’s seven shows at The O2. His cameo was so popular that J Hus started trending on Twitter.
Solange will headline the Friday night and Chance The Rapper will headline the Saturday night at Lovebox 2019.
Other announced acts include 2 Chainz, Giggs, Cypress Hill, Four Tet, Brockhampton, Loyle Carner, H.E.R. and Action Bronson,
Solange arrives at Lovebox to top the line-up having appeared on the Noisey Stage two years ago. She released the hugely acclaimed A Seat At The Table in 2016, reaching No.1 on the stateside Billboard chart. Late last year she revealed that new music is on the horizon.
Chance The Rapper, headlining on Saturday 13 July, released his third mixtape Coloring Book in 2016, but ended 2018 by unveiling two new tracks, The Man Who Has Everything and My Own Thing. Plenty more material is expected to drop in the near future.
