Lovebox share first names for 2018 line-up

The festival will be headlined by Childish Gambino, N.E.R.D, and Skepta.

Having announced their move to West London’s Gunnersbury Park, Lovebox organisers have confirmed their huge 2018 line-up.

The event will be co-headlined by Grammy Award winner Childish Gambino and N.E.R.D on the Saturday, with Skepta taking the top billing on the Friday.

The festival will also host appearances by SZA, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Vince Staples, Mura Masa, The Internet, Kali Uchis and many more.

Lovebox will take place from the 13 – 14 July 2018.

Arenas will be hosted by Noisey, Jackmaster & Numbers Present Mastermix, Mike Skinner & Murkage present Tonga, Shy FX presents cult.ure, Corona Sunsets and Kopparberg Outsider.

 

Childish Gambino takes to the Lovebox main stage, having forged a career in music, producing, acting, rapping, and more. He released his debut album Camp in 2011, followed by with Because The Internet and his most recent Awaken, My Love! in 2016.

Skepta remains one of UK music’s most prominent figures, and a pioneer in the grime scene. As a founding member of BBK, he teamed up with brother JME for That’s Not Me in 2014, and releasing the Mercury Music Prize winning Konnichiwa in 2016.

 

They’ll be joined by Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley, taking to the co-headline slot on the Saturday as N.E.R.D following last year’s No One Ever Really Dies and collaboration with Rihanna, Lemon.

Lovebox will take place from the 13 – 14 July 2018 at Gunnersbury Park in West London. More artists will be announced in the near future.
