Nashville-based Maren first broke through in 2016 with her debut album Hero. The record, featuring the singer-songwriter’s signature brand of country-pop, spawned four singles: My Church, 80s Mercedes, I Could Use a Love Song and Rich. Hero received rave reviews and debuted at No.5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The success of the album earned her four Grammy Award nominations in 2017, with the star taking home the award for Best Country Solo Performance.

At the start of 2018, Maren hit the road supporting Niall Horan on the former One Direction star’s Flicker World Tour. The shows saw the singer-songwriter take to the stage in countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the US.

During the tour, Maren released her biggest hit single to date, dance-pop anthem The Middle. The track, which saw the young superstar collaborate with super-producer Zedd and American duo Grey has been streamed over 500 million times on Spotify. The single charted within the top 10 in both the US and UK and has received two nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards, due to take place this February.
