Metallica announce two huge UK shows

They arrive in Manchester and London as part of their European tour.

Metallica will be playing huge shows in Manchester and London as part of a newly announced European tour that also sees the rock titans take to Dublin and much of mainland Europe.

They’ll be playing Etihad Stadium in Manchester on 18 June 2019, and London’s Twickenham Stadium on 20 June 2019.

The full European run kicks off in Lisbon on 1 May 2019, and takes in 25 venues as part of the WorldWired tour. For the first time ever, Metallica will take to Trondheim in Norway, Finland’s Hämeenlinna, and Tartu in Estonia.

Metallica will be joined by Ghost and Bokassa on all dates.

The tour continues to celebrate the release of the band’s 2016 album Hardwired… to Self-Destruct. As with most of the WorldWired shows, each ticket purchase will include a choice of a physical or digital copy of the album.

Hardwired… to Self-Destruct is the tenth full-length release by the iconic four-piece, comprising James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.

Metallica released their Kill ‘Em All debut in 1983, kickstarting a catalogue that includes the highly influential Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning and …And Justice for All, among others.

Tickets are set to go on general sale at 10:00 on Friday 28 September 2018, however fans can access tickets early by joining the Metallica fan club.

How much do Metallica tickets cost?

Tickets for Metallica’s UK dates in Manchester will range between £60 and £125 plus fees. London tickets will range in price between £60 and £130 plus fees.
