More artists have been added to Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend taking place over the August bank holiday.

The latest names to join the bill include 5 After Midnight, Pixie Lott, Ultra Naté, and Katrina & The Waves. They join the likes of already confirmed Melanie C, Faithless, and Clean Bandit.

5 After Midnight, recently signed to Simon Cowell’s SyCo, will celebrate a pride event exclusive in Manchester, appearing on the Thomas Cook Airlines USA Stage.

2017 will also mark the third time Pixie Lott takes to the event, having recently teamed up with DJ Anton Powers (who will also be appearing over the weekend) for Baby.

Other acts added include N-Trance, Lucy Staggan, Girli, and Lisa Maffia. In addition, favourite Heather Peace will curate Heather Peace Presents on the Sackville Gardens Boutique Stage for the third year.

The events Gaydio Dance Arena will host Faithless, Simian Mobile Disco, Danny Howard, Ben Pearce, and Shaun J Wright of Hercules and the Love Affair.

The Manchester Pride Festival, which is made up of The Big Weekend, The Manchester Pride Parade and The Candlelit Vigil, is an award-winning four day event celebrating LGBT life. The event takes place in August, with this year’s The Big Weekend set to run from Friday 25 – Monday 28 August and the parade on Saturday 26 August.

Tickets provide guests with access to the event site, including the Main Arena, Sackville Gardens Boutique Stage, the Gaydio Dance Arena and the Expo and help Manchester Pride raise money for LGBT and HIV charities and organisations in Greater Manchester.
