Here’s who’s playing Neighbourhood Weekender 2021

The festival returns to Warrington in September 2020.

Organisers of Neighbourhood Weekender have confirmed that the festival has been rescheduled in 2021.

The Warrington-based event will now take place at Victoria Park on 29 – 30 May 2021.

All original tickets remain valid for the new dates. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be contacted by our Customer Services team with more information.

Ian Brown and Catfish and the Bottlemen take on headline duties on Saturday and Sunday at Neighbourhood Weekender, which is also set to see the likes of Sam Fender, The Wombats, Miles Kane and Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott perform.

Ian Brown arrives at to headline the Neighbourhood Weekender with his first major solo headline performance in almost a decade, and four years since The Stone Roses played four nights at Manchester’s vast Etihad Stadium. The performance follows the release of his self-produced Ripples album last year.

Catfish and the Bottlemen headline on Sunday, celebrating the release of their latest album The Balance.

Sam Fender, who released his Hypersonic Missiles debut in September 2019, performs on Saturday, with The Wombats and The Beautiful South’s Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott set to perform on the Sunday.

The list of artists performing also includes Shed Seven, Pale Waves, Tom Walker, and Ticketmaster New For 2020 picks Inhaler.

Launching in 2018, Neighbourhood Weekender began with headline performances by Everything Everything and Sundara Karma, immediately establishing itself as the city’s biggest metropolitan festival.

Last year saw headline performances by George Ezra and Richard Ashcroft, as well as welcoming the likes of Primal Scream, The Vaccines, You Me At Six and Nothing But Thieves.

With bands across three stages ranging from huge names to emerging talent, the festival has fast become a staple of the UK’s live music scene.
