It’s our favourite time of the week – New Music Friday is the new tunes fix you need to get your weekend started. This week we’ll be listening to the Pretenders, Melanie C, Lazarus, Jimmy Eat World and more.

Melanie Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice, has released her first solo album since 2012’s Stages. Just this week Melanie C also announced a UK wide tour for April 2017 and you can still snap up the last tickets here.

Lazarus The Musical Soundtrack

Lazarus The Musical Soundtrack

The final work of the late and great David Bowie can be heard on the Lazarus musical’s Original Cast Soundtrack which is out today. The tribute musical was written by Bowie himself and Enda Walsh and will come to the West End next week. There’s a few tickets available for midweek performances from 13 December right here.

Pretenders – Alone

The English-American rockers present their spectacular new album Alone produced by the Black Key’s Dan Auerbach. They’ll be playing a one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 10 April. Get tickets via ticketmaster.co.uk.

Jimmy Eat World – Integrity Blues

Jimmy Eat World’s ninth full-length record Integrity Blues is also out today. The band decided for this album they’ll do something they’ve never done in their 23-year career – take a break. And it sure did the record good. Catch the guys on tour next month. Tickets are available here.

Korn – The Serenity Of Suffering

The band’s twelfth studio album is finally hr and it’s darker than ever. With recently released single A Different World featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Korn prove they’re still one of the best in the business. They’re co-headlining a huge UK tour with ’90s rap-rock icons Limp Bizkit with support from Madball, a few tickets are left here.

One of the best reunions of the year, if not the decade, have released the latest single from their forthcoming album NightDriver. The boys are also heading out on tour next spring with tickets available here.

Kings of Leon – Walls
