Legendary Antipodean rockers Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced details of a forthcoming UK arena tour.

The new run of dates kicks off in Birmingham on Saturday 2 May 2020, before heading to Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds, finishing off with a two-night stint at London’s The O2 on 14 and 15 May 2020.

The news follows the recent release of the band’s latest studio album Ghosteen.

Released digitally on 4 October 2019, Ghosteen is the band’s seventeenth album release so far and was recorded across the US, UK and Germany.

Ghosteen is the third in a trilogy of albums, following 2013’s Push The Sky Away and 2016’s Skeleton Tree.

The record received rave reviews on release, with Rolling Stone describing the album as “a masterpiece of melancholy”. The LP has also been highly praised by periodicals such as The Guardian, The Times and NME.

An accompanying film of the same name was also released alongside the new album and is available to watch in full on YouTube below:
