Preview: Here’s what happening at Standon Calling THIS WEEKEND

Hertfordshire’s Standon Calling festival is set to be the biggest and best ever this weekend, celebrating its eleventh year!

The weekend is packed with huge headline sets from Suede, Jess Glynne and Kelis, up-and-coming acts in the form of Blossoms, Loyle Carner, Yak, Meilyr Jones, Declan McKenna and many others, electronic superstars including Theo Parrish, Gold Panda and Greg Wilson keeping the party going until late. Plus a packed family programme for babies to teens.

2016’s theme is the Legend of the Lost Seas, the underwater world unfolds across the weekend. Each year Standon Calling has pushed the boundary of ordinary fancy dress with the theme spilling into set design, production, entertainment and more. Plus, don’t miss out on marvelling at some of the best costumes you will ever see at any festival. Pirates and mermaids, anyone?

New for 2016, Standon Calling has opened a day early for The Welcome Feast. A foodie introduction to the festival showcasing the very best in street food, featuring a live Q&A with music icon and trained chef Kelis, along with her culinary collaborator London burger pop-up sensations Le Bun. So don’t miss out on the rest of the weekend fun!

Final few weekend and day tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.co.uk/standoncalling.
