More acts added to RiZE Festival

Essex's brand new festival takes place from the 17 - 18 August 2018.

WIth Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics the first acts to headline the brand new RiZE Festival, coming to Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August 2018, organisers have now confirmed the addition of more acts, including a rare appearance by Sean Paul. The latest announcement completes the festival line-up.

RiZE Festival will bring together a mix of indie, pop, urban and dance acts across four stages. Hylands Park has hosted various world class events, including being the home of V Festival, and will now welcome live music alongside the promise of the best food and drink on the festival circuit.

Liam Gallagher will headline the festival on the Friday night, celebrating the release of last year’s As You Were. The No.1 album achieved gold status in the first week of release, spawning singles such as Wall Of Glass and Chinatown.

Stereophonics take headline duties the following evening, following their current massive UK tour in support of their gold certificated album Scream Above The Sounds. Their tenth studio album celebrates twenty years since their debut Word Gets Around.

The latest announcement sees Sean Paul joined by Ash, Bilk, Alma, Black Honey, Sam Henshaw, Jake Shears, Belly, Call Me Loop, Bad Sounds, Nick J.D Hodgson, Kawala, Danny Howard, Sam Divine, Icarus, Mele, Kideko, Cliq, Punctual, Mista Jam, Tom Zanetti, Majestic, Riton & Kahlo, Jaguar Skills, DJ Target, Charlie Sloth, Nathan Dawe, Conducta, Louis Berry, Gerry Cinnamon, Catherine McGrath, Cloves, Feet, Kara Marni, Into The Ark, Samantha Harvey, Alice, Spring King, Ten Tonnes, Sheafs, Taya, Mullaly, Kyko, Apre, Over Atlantic, Folly Rae and Bobii Lewis.

The outdoor festival will also welcome the likes of previously confirmed platinum selling singer-songwriter James Bay, national treasures Manic Street Preachers, indie stars Circa Waves, Grammy nominated Bastille, alternative rockers Maximo Park, and Craig David’s world famous TS5.

The line-up also features Years & Year, Plan B, Rag’N’Bone Man, Dave, Rita Ora, Example & DJ Wire, Tokio Myers, MNEK, Disciples, Sinead Harnett, and The Manor. It will also host rising stars Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, Raye, Tom Walker, Nina Nesbitt, and Jacob Banks.

How much are RiZE Festival tickets?

Day tickets are priced at £59.50 plus booking fee; you can get Weekend Arena Tickets for £115 plus booking fee; Two-Night Camping tickets for £160 plus booking fee or Three-Night Camping tickets for £165 plus booking fee.

Car parking will also be available at £10 per day.


What camping options are available?

Standard onsite camping is available at RiZE, which can be purchased as part of a two-night or three-night ticket with access to the arena.

Those looking for a more luxurious experience can opt for the following:

Luxury Camping Village
Tucked away a short walk from the main stage, the luxury camping village promises a true VIP experience. No stress, no tents to lug around and no portaloo in sight.

Choose from staying in VIP camping, Aistream camper vans for 2 or 4 people, bedoin tens, bell houses for 2, 3 or 4, canvas ridge tents, cabins, tipis, crew domes, gypsy wagons, and summer lodges, as well as a handful of other options.

As well as the luxury accommodation (more on that later), the village promises porters, private walkways to the arena, 24 hour reception and concierge, hot showers and real toilets, a pamper area, hair salon and massage tents*, a restaurant*, a late night bar*, as well as a welcome party on the Thursday evening.

In the festival’s VIP area, luxury campers can access street food stalls*, a VIP bar*, glitter make-up stations*, an information hub and cloakroom*, proper toilets, a chillout area, and exclusive DJ sets.
