Rod Stewart has launched his huge European tour with an exclusive warm up show in Southend.

It starts a run across mainland Europe and into the UK, which see the legend play through until December 2019.

The UK leg of the Rod Stewart Live in Concert tour kicks off properly with the show in Bristol in May 2019, finishing in December 2019 with two shows at The O2 Arena, London.

The live dates mark Rod’s first UK tour in three years, having sold out venues on his 2016 The UK Hits Stadium Tour and his From Gasoline Alley to Another Country Hits run.

“I’ve been lucky enough to play most of the major venues in the world – Madison Square Garden, The O2 – but it was a total treat to experience the energy, intimacy and sheer excitement of playing Southend on Sea,” Rod says of the intimate warm up show. “What a night – I’ll never forget it.”
