The Rolling Stones have unveiled their stellar line-up of support acts for their 2018 Stones – No Filter tour, which comes to the UK this summer. The tour will see them play eight stadium shows across the country, kicking off at London Stadium on 22 May.

Oasis legend Liam Gallagher will continue his path to world domination with a support set on the first night of the tour. He is followed by British indie treasure Florence + The Machine, who will be opening the show at the East London venue just a few days later. Southampton will see The Vaccines perform their beloved indie tracks, including latest single, fittingly titled, Rolling Stone. On 2 June, Coventry’s Ricoh Arena will witness English ska icons The Specials take the stage.

Edinburgh and Manchester will be treated to a support set from The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and Cardiff can look forward to a stellar performance from English rock outfit Elbow. Rounding off the epic list of supports, singer-songwriter James bay will be bringing his new album Electric Light to London’s Twickenham Stadium where the UK leg of the tour will culminate on 19 June.

Even with over half a century of live performances under their belt, there’s just no stopping The Rolling Stones. Just last year the band won a Grammy for their blues album Blue & Lonesome, and they also produced documentary Olé Olé Olé! – a trip across South America which focuses on their ground-breaking tour across Latin America, including their first ever show in Cuba.

“It’s such a joy to play with this ban. There’s no stopping us, we’re only just getting started, really,” Keith Richards recently said .

Mick Jagger added: “This part of the No Filter tour is really special for the Stones. We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. It’s always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite awhile.”
