Royal Blood have added an extra date to their small run of headline shows taking place next month.

The band will now play a gig at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill on Thursday 8 August 2019.

A portion of the ticket price from the show will be donated to War Child UK, who stand up for the rights of children caught up in conflict across the globe.

Tickets will be available from 10:00 Friday 26 July 2019 through Ticketmaster.co.uk

Comprised of Mike Kerr on vocals and bass and Ben Thatcher on drums, Royal Blood formed in Brighton in 2013.

After a run of single releases, the Award-winning duo released their debut album Royal Blood in 2014.

The much-anticipated record debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Albums Chart and spawned the singles Out of the Black, Little Monster, Come On Over, Figure It Out and Ten Tonne Skeleton.

Royal Blood has since achieved platinum status in the UK and the album earned the band the BRIT Award for Best British Group in 2015.

The eponymous debut was followed by How Did We Get So Dark? in summer 2017, with the latest LP also topping the chart on release.

Singles from the How Did We Get So Dark? include Lights Out and I Only Lie When I Love You.

The band first built their reputation with their highly energetic and raucous live shows, relying on just the noise the two of them created on stage.

Early support slots with Arctic Monkeys and Pixies helped to expand their fanbase, and the band now regularly headline arenas across the globe.

The last time the band toured the UK was in 2017, on a sold out arena tour that included three shows at Alexandra Palace, London.

The duo are currently preparing to perform at Reading and Leeds Festivals this August Bank Holiday weekend, as main support to headliners The 1975.

Ahead of the gigs, the band will embark on a small run of UK shows, with The Mysterines (Bexhill, Southampton, Newport and Margate) and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets (Dundee and Nottingham) supporting.

Here are the dates, including the newly announced Bexhill show.:

8 August 2019 – De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill

10 August 2019 – Newport Centre
