Sam Fender has announced details of brand new UK tour, including his first-ever headline arena shows.

The run of dates will see the musician perform huge gigs in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Leicester, Cardiff, Leeds and Newcastle throughout March and April 2020.

The news comes as the musician celebrates his debut album Hypersonic Missiles entering the Official UK Albums Chart at No.1.

Critically acclaimed, the album received rave reviews with The Guardian declaring it “Gloriously anthemic”, and Q Magazine exclaiming “It’s hard not to imagine the stadium potential of these songs”.

Hypersonic Missiles features the singles Play God, Leave Fast, Dead Boys, That Sound, Hypersonic Missiles, Will We Talk? and The Borders.

It’s been a busy summer for South Shields musician, who has appeared at festivals such as TRNSMT, BST Hyde Park, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Fusion Presents.

Sam is also enjoying a growing profile in America, having appeared several times on US TV in recent months and performing at Chicago’s famous Lollapalooza Festival.

He is currently preparing for a sold out winter headline tour, which includes two nights at O2 Academy Brixton, London and four nights at O2 Academy Newcastle.

Fans will have the chance to catch the in-demand artist live again when he hits the road early next year, for a brand new run of dates including his first-ever headline arena shows.
