Shinedown announce UK headline tour

They'll be joined by Starset and Press to MECO in October and November 2018.

Florida rockers Shinedown have announced a UK headline tour, kicking off in Newcastle on the 29 October 2018. The four-piece will be joined by fellow stateside outfit Starset and British band Press to MECO.

Shinedown released their sixth studio album in May. Attention Attention features single Devil, their first release since 2015’s Threat To Survival.

Since releasing their debut album Leave A Whisper in 2003, the band have hit the top spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart twelve times. They join Van Halen and Three Days Grace as mainstays on the rundown.

All four albums after and including The Sound of Madness have entered the Top 10 on the official US album chart, with their most recent also reaching No.8 on the UK list.

The band, comprising founding members Brent Smith and Barry Kerch, as well as Zach Myers and Eric Bass, recently performed at Download Festival where they caught up with Ticketmaster about the new music and their festival experiences.

 

The Shinedown UK headline run starts in Newcastle, taking in Glasgow, Manchester, Norwich, Southampton, Birmingham and Bristol, before ending with a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on the 7 November.
