Sigala has announced the release of his debut album, Brighter Days, due for release on the 21 September 2018. The producer, artist and DJ, real name Bruce Fielder, launched the Summer of Sigala in Ibiza earlier this week, celebrating the record as well as his forthcoming UK tour dates.

Brighter Days will be released through Ministry Of Sound, featuring his six previous top 10 singles including Came Here For Love with Ella Eyre, Lullaby with Paloma Faith, and Give Me Your Love with John Newman and Nile Rodgers.

He launched his new music by flying a team of collaborators, writers and fans to Ibiza on a specially chartered flight. He announced that he’ll be releasing a series of singles and new music ahead of the album’s release.

Watch a clip from the Ibiza launch below:

“I went away to Belgium in November for a month to this studio in the woods in the middle of nowhere,” Sigala explains of the record. “I think I saw about three people while I was there. I just saw it as an opportunity to experiment.”

“They’re songs that I’m really proud of and I’m really happy they’re able to see the light of day,” he says. “If I’d just kept releasing singles that would have never happened.”

He’ll follow the summer with a UK headline tour across the UK.

Sigala launched into the mainstream in 2015 with his releases Easy Love and Sweet Lovin’ featuring Bryn Christopher. He has since collaborated with the likes of DJ Fresh and Imani, as well as Craig David, Digital Farm Animals, Kato and more.
