One week to go until Comic Relief’s Spectacular
For the first time ever, Comic Relief will bring together the biggest names in comedy for a special one-off event

The duo will be taking their new album on the road.
Tunbridge Wells punk duo Slaves have announced a lengthy headline tour in support of their new album, Acts Of Fear and Love.
The tour kicks off in Newcastle on the 7 November 2018, running through to a huge show at London’s Alexandra Palace on Saturday 24 November.
Acts Of Fear and Love marks the third full-length by Slaves, having last released Take Control in 2016. The pair emerged onto the scene with Are You Satisfied? in 2015, featuring singles Hey, The Hunter and Cheer Up London.
Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman first released music three years before their debut album, before being picked up by the BBC and shortlisted for the BBC Sound of 2015 poll.
Since then, bothAre You Satisfied? and Take Control entered the UK album chart top 10.
They’ll be joined on their 13-date tour by Melbourne rock and rollers Amyl and the Sniffers, and Kent trio Lady Bird. Homegrown rapper slowthai will also make a special appearance on the London date.
