Electronic punk rockers Sleaford Mods have confirmed their largest ever London headline show.

The duo are currently in the middle of a huge UK tour, in support of their latest record Eton Alive.

Formed in Nottingham in 2007, Sleaford Mods is comprised of vocalist Jason Williamson and musician Andrew Fearn. The pair have won over legions of fans in recent years with their minimalist style and humorous, politically charged lyrics.

Their latest release Eton Alive was their most commercially successful LP to date and is the duo’s first record to debut within the top 10 on the Official UK Albums Chart. Critics also praised the release, with NME and The Guardian both rewarding it with four-star reviews.

The band are currently gearing up to release the latest single from the album, Discourse. Released on the duo’s own Extreme Eating label, Discourse will be available to pre-order from 25 March 2019 and in record shops on 10 May 2019.

Discourse chapters that dark silence in the vaults of the unskilled worker,” explains Jason from the band. “The acceptance of all that is horrible and endured. Moments of connection between living vessels are rare but sometimes they do pass through the wire and lives are understood for a flicker of a second.”

Considered by many as a must-see live act, Sleaford Mods have performed at major festivals such as Field Day, Green Man and Glastonbury.

Sleaford Mods will be headlining their largest gig to date in London later this year.
