So Bring Me The Horizon are the talk of NME Awards after this Coldplay stunt

Bring Me The Horizon performed at the NME Awards 2016 with Austin, Texas last night. Fast forward a few hours and frontman Oli Sykes is the talk of the Internet after he crashed Coldplay‘s table during the song.

While performing Happy Song, the BMTH singer departed the stage with his sights set on the nearest table… which just so happened to belong to the night’s Godlike Genius recipients, Coldplay.

Oli took flight on the table, broke the table and was quickly pictured all over Twitter like so…

Speaking to NME after the performance, keyboardist Jordan Fish said: “I don’t think [Oli] was aiming for Coldplay. It was just whoever was nearest, it [just] happened to be Coldplay”.

While Oli himself added: “I had no sound in my ears so I thought ‘Well, there might be sound out there.’ There weren’t sound out there so when I came back there was a table, which I got on. There wasn’t any sound on there, but it was a bit more energetic up there. It was in no way a protest against Coldplay.”

Blogger and NME Awards attendee, Zoe London, shared her footage from the moment…
