Dizzee Rascal added to Soundscape Festival

Seven charting stars take to Coventry's Ricoh Arena this June.

Dizzee Rascal is the final name to be added to Soundscape Festival, coming to Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on the 16 June 2019.

Bringing seven of the biggest and freshest names in pop and dance to the midlands location, Soundscape have also promised a second part to the festival to take place in the latter part of 2019.

Originally set to take place the day before the pop and dance event, the second weekend will focus on indie and rock artists, with the line-up to be revealed in the near future.

Soundscape Festival in June will welcome a headline performance by internationally renowned DJ David Guetta. The Paris born star is famous for the likes of Without You alongside Usher, and Titanium with Australian pop star Sia.

Guetta will be joined on the line-up by Anne-Marie, who took the world by storm in 2016 with her No.1 smash alongside Clean Bandit, Rockabye. Last year she released Speak Your Mind, her debut full-length, featuring hits Friends and 2002.

Soundscape Festival will also welcome Years & Years, fronted by Olly Alexander. The trio hit No.1 on the album chart with their Communion debut in 2015, following it up with last year’s Palo Santo.

The latest act to be added to the line-up is London grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal, who launched onto the scene in 2003 with Boy In Da Corner LP. He reached the top spot on the UK singles chart with the massive Dance Wiv Me, Bonkers and Holiday.

The Soundscape Festival line-up on Sunday 16 June 2019 is completed by Rather Be stars Clean Bandit, Swedish rising star Mabel, and X Factor winners Rak-Su.

All seven acts will take to Ricoh Arena in Coventry for a pop and dance-filled event, promising the buzz of a traditional festival with the production and technology of a stadium.
