After a busy summer including an appearance at Download Festival in June (check out all the photos from their set here), fans now have the chance to see Steel Panther live again on their Lower The Bar tour in support of the new record.

Steel Panther‘s new record was released in March this year. Party metal at its finest is something Steel Panther do well, and their latest release is no different. It seems the more they write the more they focus on metal anthems that’ll make you want to crank up your speakers. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of laughs to be had with this album with songs like Walk of Shame or Goin’ In The Backdoor. About the record Michael Starr said: “It’s a really solid, fun, intelligent party record. We’re just maturing as a band after being on the road for years together and living together. It shows.”

Last month Steel Panther shared the video for their latest collaboration with none other than Corey Taylor’s Stone Sour. Wasted Too Much Time is NSFW in true Steel Panther fashion and a satirical glance at failing relationships. Stone Sour appear as Steel Panther in 80s glam metal attire including animal print spandex. Just this month, Steel Panther wrapped up a co-headliner tour with Stone Sour in the US.

Support for the Steel Panther tour will come from London hard-rock five-piece Inglorious and country band Wayward Sons; Little Angels’ Toby Jepson’s latest project.

24 January – O2 Apollo, Manchester
26 January – Hammersmith Apollo, London
