Tour Bus Playlist: Elderbrook’s favourite tracks

Here's what the Grammy nominated artist listens to en route to his live shows.

Ahead of Elderbrook’s show at EartH in Hackney, the singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has shared his pre-show playlist. The multi-talented music-maker has also given fans a taste of his highly anticipated upcoming project in the form of an incredible new single, Something About You.

Featuring Rudimental, they join a prestigious list of electronic music powerhouses to work with Elderbrook, who has also had hit songs with the likes of Diplo, Andhim and Camelphat.

With Elderbrook’s live shows captivating to say the least, here’s what he feeds through his eardrums on his way to a show and before taking to stage.

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young – Helpless

“It’s a great song from one of my favourite bands and albums ever. It’s a really slow song and helps me chill out in the morning which is always needed after late nights on the road.”

Elton John – Tiny Dancer

“They play it on the tour bus in the film Almost Famous and so whenever I play it it makes me feel like I’m in the film too. Obviously, Elton John is also one of the best songwriters as well – just an all round great track.”

Sedona – Houndmouth

“This song reminds me of touring America which is something, when I was younger, I always wanted to do. The lyrics really paint a picture in my mind of driving along big endless highways and I always want to play it loud then!”

John Hiatt – Have A Little Faith In Me

“It’s my favourite song to sing along too. The lyrics and melody are just beautiful. It’s also great fun to harmonise with helps warm my voice up when driving.”

Disclosure – You & Me (flume remix)

“This is just a massive emotional electronic banger. There’s a deep epic-ness about it which hypes me up. I remember me and my friends listening to it a lot before going out at university and I still love just as much now.”

Elderbrook is playing live at EartH in London on Saturday 12 October.
