Here's how to get presale tickets.
Wireless is returning to London’s Finsbury Park in 2019 for its 15th edition this July – and urban music fans are in for another unforgettable year.
Organisers have today revealed the huge headliners for all three nights of the festival: Cardi B, Migos, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky.
Cardi B will take to the stage on Friday night in a co-headline spot. The Bronx-raised rapper – born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – rose to fame after appearing in the reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2015. Cardi B released her first mixtape, called Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol 1, in 2016, with a second volume following in early 2017. Last year her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, came out and Cardi B hopped in car with James Corden for a hilarious appearance on his Carpool Karaoke.
Sharing the Friday night bill with Cardi B is Georgia-based hip-hop trio Migos. Thanks to last year’s record-breaking album Culture II, they’ve established themselves as one of the hottest acts in the world. Migos’ videos are always a breath of fresh air. In one for last year’s hit Narcos, the threesome appear as drug traffickers in a fortified Mediterranean villa where, after closing a deal, they end the day with feast and a shootout.
With the release of Migos’ fourth studio album, Culture III, set for 2019, Wireless is perfect opportunity to hear their latest material first.
Saturday night features Houston rapper Travis Scott in a UK festival exclusive performance. Last year he released his third studio album Astroworld. An icon in the hip hop world, Scott is well known for hits like Butterfly Effect, Goosebumps and Sicko Mode featuring Drake.
Scott will be appearing this Sunday in the illustrious halftime show for American football’s Super Bowl LIII.
Closing out Wireless on Sunday in another UK exclusive is New York City-bred A$AP Rocky. Since the release of his debut mixtape Live. Love., he’s been revered for his mind-melting beats and experimental sounds. Rocky is sure to give an unparalleled performance at Wireless 2019 full of his from his huge catalogue that includes Praise the Lord from last year’s album TESTING.
With performances spread over three days, the festival will see the biggest names across the worlds of grime, hip-hop, RnB, dance and all points in between play alongside the best up-and-coming new acts at a festival that’s unlike any other in the UK calendar.
Last year’s Wireless Festival was packed full of incredible music. Headlined by Stormzy, Drake and J Cole. You can read all about it in our festival wrap-up here.
