Doncaster native Yungblud has announced a UK tour, hosting his biggest headline shows to date.

Riding on the back of last year’s celebrated debut 21st Century Liability and last month’s single Loner, the dates see Yungblud – real name
Dominic Harrison – take to seven cities in November 2019, including performing at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

Reportedly currently working on his sophomore album, Yungblud is said to be leaning more towards his hip-hop influences on his forthcoming material.

Yungblud delivers a cross-section of genres, with links to the pop, alternative and hip-hop worlds. His lyrics, as on 21st Century Liability, are overtly socially conscious, taking on the likes of gun violence, the acceptance of ADHD, and the current political climate.

His debut album has received praise globally, entering the official UK album chart and being picked up by radio stations and publications in Australia and the United States.

Expressing his disbelief on Twitter over the size of his newly announced UK tour, he notes: “it’s been my dream since i was a kid to stand on stage at @O2academybrix and now i’m gonna do it! thankyou all so f**kin much man”.

Here are those UK dates in full:

19 November 2019 – O2 Academy, Bristol
20 November 2019 – O2 Ritz, Manchester
21 November 2019 – O2 Academy Brixton, London
22 November 2019 – O2 Institute, Birmingham
24 November 2019 – UEA, Norwich
25 November 2019 – SWG3 Galvanisers, Glasgow
29 November 2019 – O2 Academy, Sheffield

Tickets for Yungblud’s newly announced UK tour will be available from 9:00 on Wednesday 6 February 2019 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
