A feast for the ears, Easy Life effortlessly combine their wide range of musical influences to create the perfect music to soundtrack life’s highs and lows. The Leicester band have been bubbling under the radar for a little while now, and are about to take a giant leap into the mainstream.

Easy Life appeared out of the wild when they dropped debut track Pockets online in November 2017. Combining indie-rock sensibilities with a laid-back beat and intricate rhymes, the track received endorsements from the likes of Dork and Line of Best Fit and received radio play from the BBC Radio 1’s new music custodian Annie Mac.

The quintet followed up the hugely popular single with a small run of dates in summer 2017, including sets at influential new music festivals such as Live at Leeds, Dot to Dot and Splendour, as well as a sold-out hometown headline show at Leicester’s sweetest venue, The Cookie.

In March 2018, the band dropped the Creature Habits mixtape, their first release on new home Island Records. The eight-song release which included a new version of their debut single Pockets saw the band expand on their already successful formula, winning them a legion of new fans. With their new reach, the band were asked to open for Liam Gallagher at the enigmatic former Oasis frontman’s huge outdoor gig at London’s Finsbury Park in June 2018.

As the Midlands band prepare for the release of their debut as-yet-unannounced album, they have dropped two more singles onto the world wide web. The full to the brim of soul Frank, with beats that wouldn’t sound out of place on an Anderson .Paak record and the ode to insomnia latest single Nightmares. In October 2018, the band performed the latter song live on the television institution Later with… with Jools Holland.

The band have just concluded their biggest headline tour to date, with most dates selling-out well in advance. The tour stopped at venues such as London’s Moth Club and Manchester’s Deaf Institute and saw the band headline the 450 capacity Dryden Street Social venue in Leicester.

With a load of great tunes in their repertoire, a burgeoning fan base and a music industry queuing up to get a piece of them, it looks like Leicester trip-pop-makers Easy Life are set for big things.
