Ticketmaster to host two stages at The Great Escape

Here's who'll be performing.

From Thursday 9 – Saturday 11 May 2019, thousands of music lovers will descend on Brighton in pursuit of finding their new favourite artist.

For one weekend only, The Great Escape Festival takes over the city’s music venues, hosting the best new in upcoming talent from all corners of the world.

As part of our commitment to promoting brand new cutting edge music, Ticketmaster will be hosting two stages at this year’s festival, both jam-packed with ridiculously talented musicians.

Here’s who’ll be performing, a bit about them and when and where you can catch them.


Thursday 9 May 2019 at The Dive Bar – Beach Site

18:00: Tim Atlas

L.A.-based Tim Atlas has been making waves with his catchy, modern indie-pop tunes. Rihanna and Pharell are fans and you should be too.

18:45: Barny Fletcher

Combing classic hip-hop and soul with contemporary pop influences, 20-year-old Barny Fletcher’s career is about to explode. Expect a high energy set from the Somerset up-and-comer.

19:30: Juniore

Ultra-cool Parisian’s Juniore dropped their debut album Ouh là là in their home country in 2017. Championed by 6 Music, the pop makers now have their sights set on world domination.

20:30: The Snuts

Looking to follow in the footsteps of their heroes the Arctic Monkeys, The Snuts are one of British guitar music’s brightest hopes. Having amassed a cult following in Scotland, The Snuts are not a band to be slept on.

21:30: Chai

Hailing from Nagoya, Japan, Chai signed to Heavenly Records late last year and wowed British audiences shortly after when they supported Superorganism on tour.

22:30: Confidence Man

Aussie electro-pop makers Confidence Man made the world dance last summer with their trailblazing debut album Confident Music for Confident People. Get down early for this lot!

19:15: Malik Djoudi

Currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album back home in France, Malik Djoudi makes charisma filled pop music that showcases his unique vocal talent.

20:15: Warhola

The musical moniker of Oliver Symons, Warhola is leading the charge of the ‘Belpop’ movement. Producing everything himself, Warhola makes slick danceable tunes filled with ambition.

21:15: APRE

Prepare to fully immerse yourself into the world of APRE. The duo honed their guitar-led electro-pop sound in the back of the Ealing Chess Club and have inked a deal with major label Polydor.

22:15: Mosa Wild

Making indie rock filled to the brim with heart and soul, Mosa Wild are serious contenders. Their upcoming debut EP Talking In Circles sees the band work with producer extraordinaire Jim Abyss. (Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club)

23:15: RuthAnne

RuthAnne has penned some of the biggest pop hits of the past decade, including co-writing Niall Horan’s No.1 smash Slow Hands. The singer-songwriter is now stepping into the limelight herself with her own brand of heartfelt pop.

00:15: Pottery

Montreal post-punkers Pottery come to the UK ahead of the release of their anticipated debut EP No.1, due to drop on 10 May 2019 via Partisan Records. Steve Lamacq named Pottery as one of his must-see bands at the most recent SXSW.


Alongside the musicians performing on our stages over the weekend, a host of Ticketmaster New Music supported acts will be plying their trade at this year’s The Great Escape Festival including The Murder Capital, Body Type, Fontaines D.C., Whenyoung, Sea Girls, Sports Team, L Devine, Glowie and Tianna Major9.
