Independent annual motorcycle show Bike Shed London 2017 celebrates new-wave and cafe-racer custom motorcycle culture, bringing over 150 curated custom motorcycles, plus live art, photography, hand-made accessories, and carefully selected brands to the city’s Tobacco Dock over the bank holiday weekend.

“This year’s exhibition event (our eighth show) really will be bigger, better and bolder than ever,” says organiser Dutch. “We have taken on much more space at Tobacco Dock, and we intend to be even more picky about the quality of the exhibitors, retailers and hospitality. Even more of the crew are volunteers, paid staff are hand-picked, and we will keep our home-grown feel throughout the event.”

The event also welcomes high quality, healthy street food, barista coffee, several proper bars, cigar and whiskey lounges, live music, plus multiple live tattoo artists and a multi-chair traditional barbershop. As Dutch makes clear, this is not a trade fair, rather a fun-filled weekend for all ages.

Everybody represented at Bike Shed London 2017 has been specially selected, tried and tested by the organisers. The event promises a real hands on approach. “There will be even more food & drink, more space for kids, more music and entertainment, and every single bike will have earned its place on its Bike Shed Plinth,” Dutch continues.

Dutch and the team have recently opened a permanent space in London’s Shoreditch. “As we’ve grown our physical and online presence we’ve been careful to keep the heart of the brand and it’s promise to it’s members and customers – which is to stay 100% curated and focussed on the quality of experience,” Dutch adds. “However big our London event gets we will not compromise on quality or value for money.”
