The Great Yorkshire Fringe to return in 2017

Magic, music, dance and comedy returns to York for the third year.

In just a few weeks, The Great Yorkshire Fringe will return to the city of York, welcoming performances from across 30 countires, with over 100 shows across four of the city’s venues.

Taking to The White Rose Rotunda, The Teapot, The Shed, and new for 2017, The York Barbican which will host the return of Henning Wehn as well as hosting Curtis Stigers and the Ronnie Scott’s Big Band perform Sinatra at the Sands

Many favourites are set to return, including the Best in Show Flat Cap Awards winners Slightly Fat Features, and 2016 winners The Ronnie Scott Band.

There will also be a whole host of magic, music, dance, and comedy across the festival. There’s a whole range of events suitable to every age.

Parliament Square will also become a hub for exciting street food, including firm favourites and a range of newcomers. The highest rated purveyors of food in York, Shambles Kitchen, will be on hand, as will UK No.6 Donut Kitchen.

Coffee, cakes, innovative soft drinks and alcohol will also be available.
