Opening on the 29 May 2019 and running into the summer, Secret Cinema have revealed they’ll be creating their next immersive experience around James Bond.
Secret Cinema promises to transform a secret London location into the action-packed and suitably glamorous world of the iconic 007, blurring the lines between fiction and reality.
Audiences will be transported into the thrilling world of MI6, recruited as part of Operation Wild Card. Recruits will join either Q Branch or M Branch, receive an alias, dress code and training suggestions, ready for a night of high stakes, sophistication and deception.
Casino Royale is the 21st film in the James Bond series, and first to star Daniel Craig in the lead role. Directed by Martin Campbell, it reinvents the depiction of the British spy, adding a never-before-seen vulnerability.
“I’m excited that Casino Royale is going to be brought to life by Secret Cinema,” says the film’s director. “I hear it’s a wonderful immersive experience, and judging by its past reactions, it’s going to present the film in a way that it’s never been seen before. I can’t wait!”
Angus Jackson, Creative Director of Secret Cinema Presents Casino Royale adds: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring-to-life such an iconic film franchise and character. Casino Royale is a rich territory for us to explore from the characters to the plot and locations. Our audience will be given the opportunity to understand what it takes to embody modern espionage – bringing them closer to the Bond experience than ever before.”
Secret Cinema has been thrilling audiences for over a decade, bringing together film, music, art and theatre. Secret Cinema Presents Casino Royale is their largest and most ambitious indoor event to date, set to welcome 1,500 fans each night.
Tickets for Secret Cinema Presents Casino Royale will start at £40, plus fees, with VIP packages available from £125 plus fees. The experience will run from Wednesday until Sunday each week.
