The Athletics World Cup is heading to London

The two day event takes place from the 14 - 15 July 2018.

Tickets are now on sale for the Athletics World Cup London 2018, running from the 14 – 15 July 2018 at London Stadium. The groundbreaking event runs across two evening sessions under floodlights.

The competition format includes all track and fields events up to and including the 1500m, featuring the world’s eight leading athletics nations in each discipline. All will be competing for a prize pot of $2million.

China, France, Germany, Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Jamaica, Poland, South Africa and the USA will compete across the two days, selected as top ranking teams from the IAAF World Athletics Championship.

There are 102 medals on offer across eighteen events, split across the two days.

This year, marking 100 years since the first women secured the right to vote in the UK, each nation will be led by a female captain.
