Big Game 11 off-pitch entertainment announced

Harlequins take on Wasps at Twickenham on 29 December.

With just 12 days to go until Harlequins take on Wasps, organisers have confirmed plans for the off-field entertainment taking place pre and post-match.

The hotly anticipated Rugby Union match-up takes place at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 29 December. Kick off at 16:00.

A fixture of the festive Rugby calendar, the annual Big Game sees Harlequins play a regular season game at Twickenham Stadium, raising money for their Harlequins Foundation. Last year’s Big Game saw the South West London team defeat Northampton Saints 50-21.

For the first time ever, the West Fan Village will be open before and after the game.

Here’s what fans can get involved in:

15 Seconds To Win with Addidas

Spot as many Rugby balls as possible within the time limit to win jerseys, match tickets, Adidas merch, chances to watch Harlequins train, and more.

Star-Flyer

Open until 19:30, Star-Flyer will take fans to new heights for stunning views over Twickenham.

Test your Hockey skills

England Hockey will be rocking up to Twickenham with an inflatable pitch so fans can test their skills.

Test your passing skills

The fan favourite returns. Take on friends, family and players in the passing cage and compare skills to greats like Danny Care.

Give VI a try

Harlequins coaches will be running drop-in sessions to play touch rugby using simulation goggles, giving fans a first hand experience of the challenges faced by the visually impaired when playing rugby, and sport in general.

Give it a go at the Mo Throw

Movember will be in attendance at the game, raising awareness around men’s mental health. Fans can test their skills and strength and win prizes on the Mo Throw and Mo Hang Bar.

Big Game 11 is sure to be a tense match up. Harlequins, led by captains James Horwill and Chris Robshaw are currently fifth in the league table and take on a Wasps team who currently sit in fourth. The teams are level on points.

Last remaining tickets for the match, taking place at Twickenham Stadium, London on 29 December 2018 are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk
