The Welsh comedian opens up about his first tour in seven years.
Nitro Circus have confirmed that they will be taking the acton sports competition Nitro World Games outside of the US for the first time ever next year.
Over 100 athletes will compete at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff from 23 – 24 May 2020.
The Nitro World Games will see elite competitors from freestyle motocross, BMX, skate and freestyle scooter face off for the right to be called world champion in their respective discipline.
Launching in 2016, the event features big air formats, breakthrough ramp technology and innovative judging to push the competitors to the very limits of what’s possible in action sports.
Five disciplines are set to amaze audiences when they come to Cardiff next May.
Firm favourites back in the US, Freestyle Motorcross and BMX Best Trick will feature some of the world’s biggest and tallest ramps.
Another hugely popular event is the BMX Best Triple Hit, which requires a combination of aerial agility and quick thinking to land three tricks in rapid succession.
Some of the world’s best skateboarders will compete in the Skate Vert comp on the huge halfpipe, and rounding off the event is the Scooter Best Trick competition, which uses one of the event’s largest ramps to test riders.
The Nitro World Games was co-created by world-famous motorsports athlete and stunt performer Travis Pastrana.
“With Nitro World Games, our mission was to allow athletes to push their sports to the next level,” comments Travis. “We wanted to give athletes bigger ramps along with innovative landing technology which allows them to push the envelope and attempt tricks previously thought impossible. To see Nitro World Games thrive after three years in the U.S. and now crossing borders for the first time and coming to Cardiff, Wales, I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
The Nitro World Games travels outside of America for the first time to take over Wales’ iconic Principality Stadium, Cardiff from 23 – 24 May 2020.
Tickets for Nitro World Games will be available from 10:00 Friday 14 June 2019 through Ticketmaster.co.uk
