Bond In Motion is celebrating its two year anniversary, here’s how

The London Film Museum has announced a string of special talks to celebrate the second anniversary of Bond In Motion.

Taking place across the 19 and 20 March 2016, there will be a host of Bond-themed celebrations at the London exhibition, featuring Q&As with distinguished Bond film crew and contributors, all included in the normal ticket entry to the Museum.

Guest speakers who will talk about their unique Bond experiences and answer questions include:

Visual Effects Supervisor, Steve Begg – Noon on Saturday 19 March 

Steve realized his childhood dream of working on a Bond starting with digital effects on GoldenEye then ultimately becoming Supervisor of Visual Effects and Miniatures on Casino Royale (2006), Skyfall, (2012), and Spectre (2015).

Second Unit Director, Vic Armstrong – 2:30pm on Saturday 19 March

Vic Armstrong has worked in motion pictures for over thirty years, as a world-renowned Stuntman, Stunt Coordinator and Director. He has been the Stunt Double for Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. His first Bond film was You Only Live Twice in 1967 as a Ninja descending a rope into Blofeld’s Volcano Lair set. He was the Second Unit Director on Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

Costume Designer, Jany Temime – 11:30am on Sunday 20 March

Jany Temime designed the costumes for the two most recent Bond films and was awarded the Costume Designers Guild Award for Excellence in Contemporary Film in 2013 for Skyfall. She was also the costume designer for the last seven Harry Potter films.

Special Effect Supervisor / Miniature Effects Supervisor, Chris Corbould – 2pm on Sunday 20 March

Chris Corbould has been the Special Effects Supervisor on 7 previous James Bond films, working within the SFX department on a total of 14 007 adventures. Chris was awarded an OBE by the Queen in the 2014 New Year’s Honours for services to film. He recently won a Special Visual Effects BAFTA for his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. His team broke the Guinness World Record for the largest film stunt explosion during filming of Spectre.

Q&A sessions will be hosted by Will Lawrence and will take place in the café of the London Film Museum. They will be free to Bond in Motion ticket holders.
