An evening with Dame Diana Rigg is coming to London

The legendary actress will be telling all this March.

For one-night-only, legendary actress Dame Diana Rigg will appear on stage at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in conversation with writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson.

Taking place on 9 March 2019, the evening will offer fans an insight into the extraordinary life of one of Britains most beloved stars.

With a career spanning over six decades, Dame Diana Rigg is one of the most recognisable actresses over several generations. Born in Doncaster, the young Rigg broke into acting on stage with roles in the Royal Shakespear Country in the late 1950s.

In the 1960s Rigg became a household name for her role opposite Patrick Macnee in the espionage television series The Avengers. Her success in The Avengers led the Yorkshire lass to be cast in the 1969 Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, where she played the role of Tracy Bond, James Bond’s only wife.

Rigg won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1997 for her role of Mrs Danvers in the two-part television series Rebecca.

Younger audiences will know the performer for her role in the wildly popular fantasy drama Game Of Thrones. For her role of Olenna Tyrell in the George R.R Martin series, the actress has been nominated for an Emmy Award four times.

Last year Rigg returned to Broadway in a revival of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady for which she received a Tony Award Nomination.

She’s worked with all the greats and rubbed shoulders alongside Hollywood royalty, so join Dame Diana Rigg as she promises to leave no stone unturned at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in March.
