The definitive guide to seeing the stars of Strictly Come Dancing live this year

Last weekend saw a new batch of celebrity hopefuls take to the dance floor as BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens.

If like us you were unable to secure tickets for the studio shows, you might still be able to see your favourite dancing stars in action, as a whole heap of Strictly legends – both past and present – are set to grace stages across the country over the next few months.

We thought we’d take the liberty of rounding up the very best of the best for you right here – so here it is, your definitive guide to catching Strictly stars live on stage.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour

This one is a no-brainer. If the glitz and glamour of the Strictly ballroom is 100% your thing, you won’t want to miss this, as the TV show goes supersize with a host of arena shows. The line-up is yet to confirmed, given that the those celebs who are successful on the current series making up the lion’s share of contestants – but given this is the live tour’s 10th anniversary year, you can guarantee it’s going to be extra special.  Tickets are available right here.

Anton & Erin’s Christmas Cracker and Swing Time

Strictly legends Anton de Beke and Erin Boag have not one but two shows to delight you with over the next few months. Both professional dancers on the show since the first series, Erin left after series 10, but Anton very much remains are core part of the show’s DNA (with many touting him as a likely replacement for head judge Len Goodman, who has announced he’s stepping down from the show at the end of the current run). This December, the pair host a seasonal show full of fun and merriment (what else would you expect at Christmastime?), before they face the music and dance with their 2017 tour, Swing Time.

Kevin & Karen – The Live Tour

Married dancers Kevin and Karen Clifton are the golden couple of Strictly Come Dancing’s most recent seasons. Since first appearing three years ago, Kevin has never not made the final, for instance. The fan-favourites will embark on a tour from May 2017, which will see them visit theatres across the UK. You can get tickets right here.

The Last Tango

Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone are icons of Strictly’s golden era, with Flavia going on to win the competition when she was partnered with Olympian Louis Smith in the 2012 series. Since the pair both left the show, they’ve starred in a number of West End productions of their perfectly choreographed routines – most notably their incredible Argentine tango. Their residency at the Phoenix Theatre, London, which kicks off this week, will be their final show on the stage – so don’t miss out. Tickets right here.

Burn The Floor

While neither Robin Windsor nor Kristina Rhianoff ever lifted the glitterball trophy during their time on Strictly Come Dancing, they both became firm fan favourites. Who can forget Kristina’s incredible partnership with journalist John Sargeant, or Robin’s tour de force year with the unforgettable Lisa Riley? Here, Robin and Kristina reunite to Burn The Floor in this hot-blooded dance sensation.

Remembering Fred

Ballroom sensations Aljaž Škorjanec and Janette Manrara are hitting the road with their new production, Remembering Fred, which will celebrate the life of the legendary Fred Astaire. So if you like your dancing slick, classic and seeped on golden era Hollywood glamour, this one’s for you.
